Complia Health, leading provider of home healthcare software, is proud to announce that the four of its solutions offered: ContinuLink, Procura, Igea, and Progresa, are now SSAE 16 SOC 1 certified. Formerly known as SAS 70, SSAE 16 is the authoritative method for demonstrating that a service organization has implemented effective controls on financial transactions and other protected data.
The reporting standards have recently been enhanced, offering a higher standard to uphold in order for one to successfully pass the audit. An independent Certified Public Accountant that specializes in SSAE 16 audits conducted an examination of Complia Health and its family of solutions: ContinuLink, Igea, Procura and Progresa, in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The audit involved an in-depth inspection of all aspects of business controls from operations to security to customer service protocols. “The inspection is extremely extensive and one that is difficult to pass,” said Chris Junker, CEO for Complia Health. “The successful completion of SSAE 16 allows our customers to feel complete confidence in our services knowing that all aspects of our business have been examined by a third party and deemed acceptable by the highest of standards. Very few vendors in the industry have this certification, so we are pleased with this accomplishment.” The importance of trust in the home care software industry is tremendous, and achieving SSAE 16 validates that Complia Health is a dependable, trustworthy company.
